Sam Groshong, MS, BS

Who They Support

Sam connects especially well with individuals navigating major life transitions, grief, caregiving, identity exploration, and end-of-life conversations. He works naturally with young adults, activists, and others reflecting on purpose, relationships and living in alignment with their values.

What Shapes Their Work

A lifelong Oregonian, Sam draws inspiration from ecology, community, and the relationship between people and place. He believes healing and belonging are deeply connected to how we care for one another, relate to the natural world, and find our place within the larger systems that shape our lives.

Personal experiences with psilocybin have deepened his interest in relational care and intentional living.  His background in educational leadership, environmental policy, and ecology continues to influence how he thinks about stewardship, collective responsibility, and the role people play within their communities.

Facilitation Style

Sam values taking time to build trust and believes meaningful work often unfolds through thoughtful preparation, deep conversation, and sustained connection over time. His presence is reflective and grounded, offering people space to slow down, examine important questions, and engage their experience with curiosity and self compassion.

Samantha Schrantz Takamori, MS

Who They Support

Especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating trauma,  major life changes, and experiences of marginalization or systemic hardship. Samantha brings a compassionate, non-judgmental approach shaped by years of work alongside underserved and highly impacted populations.

What Shapes Their Work

Samantha holds a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Oregon, with a focus on trauma-informed approaches to psychedelic therapy. For the past six years, Samantha has worked as a Criminal Defense Investigator, supporting individuals navigating serious criminal charges and complex life circumstances. Earlier in her career, she worked as a residential counselor in a secured psychiatric youth facility serving adolescents experiencing significant emotional and behavioral distress.

These experiences shaped her approach to facilitation and strengthened her commitment to emotional safety, personal agency, and compassionate care.

Facilitation Style

Steady, thoughtful, and ethically grounded facilitation style centered on trust, preparation, and integration. Samantha views psilocybin not as a cure, but as a catalyst for meaningful change within a supportive and well-held environment. Her approach emphasizes transparency and staying fully present with clients through complex emotional experiences.

Willow Sat Narayan

Who They Support

Many who find their way to Willow are standing between what has been and what is becoming. As a death companion and grief tender, she supports individuals and families navigating grief, illness, caregiving, mortality, spiritual questioning, relational change, and identity shifts. Through these thresholds, she offers a compassionate presence, helping people deepen their relationship with loss, change, and ultimately, life itself.

What Shapes Their Work

For more than twenty-five years, Willow has explored ritual, movement, sound, contemplative practice, and the art of deep listening. Her work is informed by an enduring relationship with the natural world, ancestral awareness, community-based care, and practices that cultivate presence, reverence, and connection. It is also shaped by her deep reverence and devotion to being a mother, and by accompanying people through both life's tender passages and its more challenging realities.

Facilitation Style

Willow's approach is thoughtful companionship rather than direction. Sessions unfold through careful listening, intuitive attunement, and respect for each person's lived experience, inner rhythms, and unfolding process. Her presence is spacious, grounded, and spiritually oriented without imposing belief or interpretation.

Shelah Wind-Smith

Who They Support

Many people drawn to Shelah are carrying more than they outwardly let on, including caregivers, entrepreneurs, deeply sensitive individuals, and those navigating recovery, depression, creative burnout, religious and spiritual reframing, or folx part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community.  Shelah often resonates with people who have spent much of their lives surviving, masking parts of themselves, or feeling pressure to stay strong no matter what.

What Shapes Their Work

Shelah is deeply grateful to have discovered psilocybin in her youth. This experience challenged deeply ingrained beliefs and opened a lasting sense of connection, belonging, and wonder that continues to inform her life today.

As an artist, former nurse, and Co-Founder of Ripple Journeywork, Shelah draws from many paths in the way she relates to others. Years spent in harm reduction and healthcare shaped her ability to remain steady during vulnerable and emotionally charged moments. Navigating disability has further deepened her understanding of resilience, accessibility, and the importance of honoring each person’s unique circumstances.

She also holds deep respect for indigenous wisdom and lineages that have carried these medicines across generations.

Facilitation Style

Shelah brings an authentic and emotionally attuned presence that helps many people feel safe enough to fully exhale. Drawing from both nursing and decades of psychedelic experience, her approach is highly personalized, collaborative, and rooted in compassion.
